I wasn’t going to post anything on my blog until tomorrow BUT I’m just too excited not to write about my new purchase. Today I bought a Cannon EOS 3000 35mm film camera with a fish eye lens attachment along with a normal lens. I have not been able to use it yet as I haven’t got batteries for it yet but I’m definitely going to get some tomorrow so I can have a play round with it.
I am needing to think about camera storage now as I own a Holga Twin Lens Reflex 120mm (medium format film)camera, a Olympus OM40 35mm SLR camera, a Voigtlander Twin Lens Reflex 120mm box camera, a Fujifilm DL-270 Zoom (point and shoot type of 35mm, currently broken :/), a Kumagin, SuperHeadz Super Fat Lens (toy) 35mm film camera, a cheap Kodak Easy Share C913 (digital) and my Pentax k2000 digital slr camera. I hate the idea of having them in bags (unless I am taking them to use somewhere) and would like to be able to see them so I can pick which one I want. I’m the kind of person that if they are in bags and out of the way I will forget about them and they won’t get used much. plus they are all so pretty to look at! But, I don’t want them getting dirty or knocked about or anything so I’m thinking about investing in a display cabinet with glass doors that I can keep them in, along with a box to keep all my films in and batteries….I think that this will solve my “issues” about camera storage. Keep an eye out for photos of my cameras soon!
